Kenny Mulder, SSD director of transportation, received the Peter J. Grandolfo Memorial Award of Excellence at the School Transportation News Expo.

The St. Louis County branch of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) selected Special School District of St. Louis County’s Superintendent Dr. Michael Maclin as the Excellence in Youth Development and Equity Award recipient.

The SSD Board of Education has approved the selection of Cindy M. Reilmann as the District’s new Chief Financial Officer (CFO). She will assume the position in late July.

The SSD Board of Education has approved Dr. Chad Lent as a new executive director of partner districts.

During the June 11, 2024, Board of Education meeting, Jeremy Lo was approved as the new director of equity - teaching and learning, effective July 1.
